So, is anyone planning on seeing/has anyone seen the new movie based on the Edgar Rice Burroughs Mars books?

Much like Kit's doodles, Dejah Thoris will be actually wearing clothing. Though at the actress's request, the clothing will be a bit briefer than the original design.

My son has already expressed an interest in it, so we'll be going to see it together. Looks like during the day on Monday or Tuesday will be a good time to see it.

It looks cheesy, but my friends who have seen it liked it a lot more than the critics did, so I'm still planning to go see it. Someday. I hope.

I saw it, but I never read the original and have no memory of what is mentioned of it in AWoM, having read that book SO FAST in an attempt to find something that wasn't there (Yes, I made the cranky face. I absolutely made the cranky face, and then got over it) that I didn't actually catch half the story.

It was good, mindless entertainment? I mean, I wasn't expecting an award winner, so I wasn't disappointed. :P
