(mental math: Film came out in 1980, Ronan ought to have been born around 1993 if you're taking the latest book as guidance, thus it would have been thirteen years old before he was even alive. :sigh:)

yeah, but it's a cult classic. most people i knew in high school knew about it. i mean, i was born in 1990, so...it doesn't seem anachronistic to me.
