The way you say that makes it sound like you think Tumblr is cool, too? After you posted this, I went and looked it up, and it sounded like the main appeal was being able to throw up pretty things easily, as well as words (not that words aren't pretty but you know). I think its developer is intent on making it 'cool' in the sense that it's the latest, best blogging platform, but so far the few people I know who use it want very visual blogs -- like readingredhead recording all her travel photos. It sounds like fun for people who like to play with Photoshop.
