"Wizards on Call"- The Summary

Carina Keeler rescues someone from a mugger with the help of the Shony(?). The next day, Carl asks Nita and Kit to handle her work as something has come up. Harry has gone to work. Kit refers to "by Monday", and Nita refers to doing Carina's work for the weekend. This could be a Friday or Saturday.
Nita and Kit go to Central Park and read about Carina's work, which seems to involve rats.
Nita and Kit are relieved to find themselves talking to voles, not rats. They are shown a withered patch of grass, damaged by a spell cast by an Overshadowed wizard.
Nita talks to a tree, and Kit gets more information from a lamp post.
Clark tells them more useful stuff, and they head for Belvedere Castle.
Mr B tells them nothing, but an owl tells them a man was floating. Kit says it's the weekend; must be Saturday
A weather center tells them about abnormal lightning, which Carina asked about. It also tells them the name of the Shony. They now know that a poisonous monster was following unusual lightning as though on a leash.
Kit opens a boulder and steps into darkness.
