Would anyone be interested in a Young Wizards ficathon? I've been thinking about starting one, so - anyone game?

What is a ficathon?

I mean, it sounds like a kind of dinosaur, but I know it must have something to do with books.

You sign up and get a prompt, then write something for the prompt by a set deadline, usually.

And sometimes there are only set numbers of people who can participate, but if someone pulls out there are back-ups who take their prompt and write for it.

I don't know what the exact rules will be for this one, but I'm game.

Not up to writing YW fic yet (don't know the ins and outs of canon well enough, and I 'feel' X-Men movieverse characters better), but I'll read fic and give comments. :D

I think that would be a great deal of fun, but unfortunately I cannot manage to actually participate. Between working way too much (what with one thing and another, my next true day off is March 18th), trying to find a new apartment, preparing for Anime Boston (Easter weekend), and trying to plan my wedding (to be held this October), I have next to no spare time. I don't think I can come up with anything worthwhile in what time I do have...~_~*
May the Powers provide many wonderful stories to those who can and do participate!
