I've recently been converted into a fan, of my own accord, and I must say, it's brilliant. Ms. Duane REALLY knows how to write and make it seem so damn REAL. No wonder the series has taken so long to be written!
But, yeah. This is yuor standard, "Hi, I'm here!" post.
Also, did anyone ever notice that Tinkerbell changed genders?

Date: 2006-08-31 09:45 pm (UTC)Aaaand... I think female? *runs to check* Well, she's definitely female in Dilemma. Perhaps she changes gender in a later book?

Date: 2006-08-31 11:13 pm (UTC)I'm actually really impressed with how well Ms Duane writes. The Tinkerbell thing was the ONLY thing I caught that was off.
But then, I've only read the series once.
I really hope that At War is NOT the last one. There are too many loose ends.

Date: 2006-09-02 11:10 pm (UTC)Ironically, that would make Kit and Nita 'born' before me. Yet they're still not out of their teens, while I'm thirty!
Ah well, the life of a fictional character!

The entire thing with Dairine and her laptop, I saw her with one of the shiny new Vio's or something. Wide screen, cool logo.
And no, not a giant brick like originally imagined (I love the disclaimer at the beginning of the book about Laptops and how they 'cannot' do what was depicted in the book.)
