Cats, New Novel and Ponch
Feb. 5th, 2004 06:28 pmHello, I'm new here, and I was wondering who has read "The Book Of Night With Moon" and/or "To Vist The Queen" and what they thought about it. I am personally obsessed with it because it just so completely captures cats and it's funny without trying too hard, the whole idea is wonderful, the wizardry is wonderful and it's CATS.
Also, I'm really antisipating at arival of "Wizards At War" though I sort of, er, worried about the titles. War? What type that they haven't already been fighting and how.
One last thing. What's up with Ponch? I know that most wizard's pets soak up some magic, and that's what his dimensional thing is, but Diane Duane keeps hinting by writing soemthing like "And he watched thoughtfully as Kit slept, thinking ect ect." The dogs are barking to him, and he spoke to Urruah in Ailurian, which I've not traclated. What do you think is happening. I personally think it's some sort of embodiment of some dog god. Still, it's only really started up in the last few books so I don't know.
