Feb. 12th, 2007 10:13 pm. . . Question.
If Ed has been singing the Pale Slayer since the very first Twelvesong . . .
Who's going to sing the part now?

And yeah, Like the above post said - I'm sure they won't have too much trouble finding someone willing to take part for a free meal. A new Master has to rise from the Mastery, doesn't it?

(Yes, actually, that /is/ my typical answer to questions I don't know how to resolve: Don't worry! The Apocalypse will take care of everything!)

Date: 2007-02-13 04:42 pm (UTC)Here's another possibility -- could this be the last Twelvesong? Ever? I mean, we've got this redemption arc set up by Nita fiddling around with the Book of Night with Moon. Is it possible that this Song was so powerful, thanks to Ed, and the Lone Power is changing so much, that it won't be sung again?
Or is that way too inconsistent with the internal mythos?

Date: 2007-02-13 07:46 pm (UTC)Looking back on it, yes, it may well be the last Twelvesong... but somehow I doubt it. I think that most of the Lone One will change, but I'm not so certain that there will never be a need for it again. There will always be grave evil.
