Guess who's back...
May. 24th, 2005 07:03 pmYeah, yeah, me again, with various tidbits from recent youngwizards.com/Errantry Concordance updates and changes that you all might find interesting.
Firstly, the digest edition covers of A Wizard Abroad and The Wizard's Dilemma are now online; they're by Greg Swearingen, who one an award for the DW cover (the one where Nita's lost her bathing suit. Yeah, you know the one. ;))
There's a rather pretty How Wizardry Works page; and, interestingly, along with a note about the October release date for Wizards at War is a mention that DD may be touring in the US to promote it. You lucky things, you! :)
Also, the Author Appearances page informs us all that DD'll be in Chichester mid-June, Glasgow in August and Seattle in September (busy lady, our author) for various cons as a guest, attendee and attendee respectively. More interestingly, but not yet confirmed, she may be at the Northland Bookseller's Tradeshow as a speaker/author guest in Oregon, also in September.
Finally, and most subjectively, a bunch of interesting Concordance entries have been posted: Mamvish, Cockatrice and Gazetteer, Plane being the most interesting (from my perspective!) But there are also a couple of others including entries on Primary and Secondary Overshadowing and several others. Remember you can see a list of New Pages here and a list of Recent Changes here.
That's all from me for now, folks, but you may be hearing a bit from me in the near-future because I'mplotting to take over the fandom working on organising something vaguely fanfiction-y. If you want to offer some advice or something the post in my journal is the place, and gratefully appreciated, but I'll have a complete and coherent post on it here... soonish.
